Description

National Trust owned Calke Abbey is a great place to walk the dogs. Easy access and Wheelchair friendly walks.

GPS coords for car park: 52.8015, -1.4582 There are Deer on site and are fenced in, it is still advisable to keep dogs on lead and a small terrier could get under the fence.

Walk

There are several walks round the site, all are well marked and a leaflet with the waymarked trails is given on entry, and can also ben downloaded from the website. The new Tramway Trail is hard surfaced and totally wheelchair accessible. Both on and off lead walks.
