Carradale was once a popular tourist destination, served by the Clyde steamers and bustling in the summer. Since then the area has changed a lot with the planting of the vast Forestry plantations.

Shops in Carradale. There's also a camp site if you decide to stay a bit longer.
Walk
Dogs will love the trails through the trees here, this one starts at the 'Network Centre' mainly because the facilities are very handy. But there are also loch-side walks from Carradale.
