Coatham Wood dog walk near the A66, Yorkshire
Description
It looks as if this woodland has been purpose-made for dog walkers! Somewhere in there you might find a dog activity trail (seriously!) with jumps and weaves for canine cavorting. We missed this completely, so if you have a pic of your dog leaping over woody obstacles here, please send it in!
There's doggie swimming in the river, and it's a grand place for an outing with the pooch - or as a very useful stopping point if you need a break on the A66.

Fantastic place for dog walking, and nature spotting too! We regularly see deer on our early morning walks and owls on our evening walks. Lots of different routes and there is indeed a doggy agility course on one of the routes! Postcode for the car park is TS16 0QQ
