Dog walk near Pitlochry, Scotland

Description

Calm, restful walking on forest trails by Loch Rannoch.  Small beaches for canine cooling, and a choice of aimless wanderings or purposeful signed trails from the car park.

Details

Petrol stations are few and far between - remember to fill up in Pitlochry.

Walk

Three trails start at the car park, two short ones and the Forestry Commission planned 'Allt na Bogair' 5 miler, with yellow markers.  On a clear day the views are worth having, and it's a good leg stretch for drivers and dogs.
