Description

The Dukes Head Pub is dog friendly and has parking. Head over Bridge and go along foot path on the river or behind the estate at the other local pub, the Fox and Pheasant Inn and head over to Coombs Wood for a short or long loop. About 5k on the shorter loop.

Full Walk Details

Turn right out of the Dukes Head and over the road bridge. Turn left at a footpath sign and down a few steps into a field. Look out for sheep here. Walk down to the river, through a kissing gate and under the bridge. Walk beside the river Eden into Coombs Wood. If you go far enough you'll pass through part of an ornamental garden.
