Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

Edited: 6th March 2020

Druridge dog walk and dog-friendly beach, Northumberland

A wonderful park based around a lake with plenty of meadows and woods to stroll around, but the main thing here is 3 miles of beach which allows pent up pooches to really let off steam.

WC+disabled, café, picnic area, childrens play area, visitor centre and gift shop.  P&D car park

There's plenty to see in the country park including a circular walk around the lake and a network of paths, some of which are waymarked.

However, the beach is easily accessible and offers a fab opportunity for dogs to dash around to their hearts' content. The beach is 3.5 miles long and there is also a signed coastal path to follow.

Very dog friendly beach and country park, with easy parking. Great place for a picnic, either beside the lake to watch the swans or in the dunes out of the wind.
