Easington dog-friendly beach, County Durham
Description
A shingle and sand beach that's a good leg-stretching spot off the A19. Look out for coastal erosion, several roads around here stop abruptly as the cliffs below have collapsed.
Details
This isn't particularly a tourist beach, and there are no facilities there apart from the car park. Shops and fuel in Easington.
Walk
The Durham coast path runs across the top of the beach and once you're over the railway line dogs can be safely off-lead.
