Description

The park has been created out of the grounds of the derelict Elmdon Hall, and there are views over the Midlands from the high ground. Look out for the old elm tree - it is said to have been planted by Thomas Beckett.  And tree enthusiasts travel for miles to see another notable tree - a Sweet Chestnut that's been dated to 1518.

Full Walk Details

There's a walk around the edge of the park that takes you around the lakes and stream - a definite labrador one this.   And there's also a signed Heritage Trail that's been created by The Friends of Elmdon. This is a nice bit of local history, with details of the remains of the walled garden now a Local Nature Reserve which is managed by the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust as well as other interesting facts on St Nicolas' Church, Elmdon Hall and associated buildings.
