This is part of the National Forest and it is a splendid place for a dog walk. Numerous paths lead through the trees, the ones further from the road dating back to the Doomsday Book. An ideal place for dogs to run around.
Facilities in Groby
There's plenty to see in these woodlands and meadows and they are well supplied with footpaths to follow. The purple walk takes visitors around the newer trees and leads out into the meadows beyond. The more mature woodland has two signed walks (orange and white) but dogs are requested to be kept on lead in this area.
