Full Walk Details

Length of walk: 30-60 minutes

From the car park, go towards the information board to join the broad concrete track onto the heath. It's possible that this track might remain from the 1st World War when the heath was the base for aerial protection of London. Today it makes the heath accessible for wheelchair users.

The track leads through a field to a Public Footpath sign, where the main trails through the heath start and you can get to the facilities at the visitor centre.
