Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

M5 Junction 30 dog walk from Clyst St Mary, Devon

Some pub opening times and dog rules are still changing. Please check your chosen pub is able to welcome you before making plans.

A 'there and back' walk along the riverside, through lush green fields - a delight for City dog paws. The walk can easily be extended if your dog needs more than a 40 minute run, just stay on the footpath a little longer and enjoy a look at the nearby village of Sowton, whose church spire is the landmark on this route.

Better than the Services but.......

It's an OK walk through fields with easy access from the M5 and free parking. On the downside there are no facilities so if the two legged members of the party also need a pit stop you have to visit the Services as well

Very muddy farm entrance at start (and finish) of walk if wet. Pylons and motorway noise a bit of a distraction, but a very handy walk in an area without many options.
