Full Walk Details

Several colour coded trails lead through the most scenic parts of the forest. There's a useful information board to help.  The shortest route is the Kelty Glen Trail (0.5 miles) which is at its best after heavy rain when the waterfall has built up some momentum.  A different Glen Walk is 2 miles. This is the one that Scott rated highly.   If you're interested in recent history, the Mine walk (2.5 miles) goes past the remains of the two Blairenbathie pits.  The first one you reach closed down in the 1960s, and it's hard to try and imagine what the present woodland must have looked like then.
