Meadows and a canal to walk the dog along. It's a nature reserve and a glorious place to be when the orchids are in flower.
Muston Meadows is reckoned to be one of the finest lowland meadows in the country and is particularly noted for its orchids. There are paths running through the reserve, but a better bet is to enjoy a long, delightful stroll along the Grantham Canal with the dog. This can be an exciting walk at times as the towpath is occasionally encroached by some very determined grass, but it's a lovely place to be, particularly in sunny weather
