Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

Newbold Verdon dog-friendly pub and dog walk, Leicestershire

Description

Slightly in the middle of nowhere, it's worth knowing about this food-focused pub and dog walkies. You never know when a weirder than most M1 or A5 diversion might send you in this direction.

Apparently this was once an ale house attached to a long demolished windmill.

Services

Walk

Turn left out of the Windmill Inn and head down the lane. There's a handy grass verge to keep you away from the traffic. At the corner, bear right to join a Bridleway. This will take you past a couple of farms, around fields and through woodland, and eventually to the outskirts of Cadeby. Turn around before then and return the same way.
