Roadford Lake sits within the stunning Wolf Valley, near the Cornwall border just minutes off the A30. Operated by swlakestrust.org.uk there are several walks from 1.5km to 4km and whilst dogs are required to be on a lead for most of the walks there is a doggie exercise area where dogs can play off lead. At the main car park there are Toilet Facilities plus a doggie friendly Cafe open 7days/week selling cold/hot food plus (a true test of doggie friendliness) - it even has a doggie paw wash!

GPS coords for car park: 50.6877, -4.2320  There are 7 car parks - at the time of writing charging £2.50 for 2 hrs (£5 for the day). Note all charges help to support the conservation and wildlife work of the trust which include dormice, Pygmy shrews and Daubenton Bats all recorded around the lake. Visit the south west lakes trust for more information at the car park locations.

Full Walk Details

There are several walks at and around the lakes - from 1.5km to 4km - alongside the lake plus some woodland walks.  Best to check the website directly as that will help you choose the right car park for the walk that appeals the most swlakestrust.org.uk.  Although most of the walks require dogs on leads there is also a Dog Excecise Area for off lead play (Car Park 1 nearest the cafe).
