Description
Marvellous country park, with green meadows and woodland, plus a lake and overlooked by the Pennines. It's been ooh-ed and aah-ed over since Victorian times; quite right too.

P&D parking/day rate. Disabled Badge Holders free up to 3 hours.
Tea Room, in a log cabin with Fair trade produce, open daily 10.30-1630 (summer) and Tues - Sun 10.30 - 1600(winter).
Rowing boat hire, Labrador or Standard Poodle outboard motors optional.
Walk
The Tarn has a 1.3 mile circular path that is ideal for a gentle stroll. This path is hard surfaced and accessible to all.
There are also three way marked trails of varying lengths; 1.5km, 2.5km and 3.5km starting from the car park and on into woods and fields.
