Description

Thurlestone Beach is owned by the National Trust (along with South Milton beach) and it's a recognised Area of Outstanding Beauty. Dogs are allowed on the beach all year round.  The beach was made famous by the artist, Turner, who immortalised the rock here at high tide in a painting.
