A404 local walk Chorleywood, Hertfordshire
Very pleasant local woodland walk, with some really loud woodpeckers to keep you company. No facilities, and not worth a detour from the motorway, but handy if you are already nearby.

Dog Walk and activity with historical interest all in one package

Dog-friendly inn with a bar/restaurant and dog-friendly rooms. Dog walks from the door and plenty to see in this historic village.
Fun walk across the iconic bridge and into woodland. Unlike most walks in the area this one is completely hill-free!
This is a good lunchtime stop, with a short stroll around the village for the dog and a really friendly family-run pub with light bites or pub classics on the menu. The pub is dog-friendly too.
Great dog walk en route to or from Cherbourg Port
Brooding ruins surrounded by the remote and windswept Shap fell. Perfect for a moment of calm and mindfulness with the dog, and a complete change of pace from the A6.
