Ghostly dog walk and dog-friendly pub, North Yorkshire
This is a really old place indeed, and was originally a resting place for monks from the nearby Jervaulx Abbey.

A lovely expanse of heathland which is great for dogs. This is part of the large network of nature reserves Suffolk and dogs should be on leads during bird nesting times, roughly March to August.
A very quiet and sleepy village with a charming country pub at weekends, and a rural dog walk.
Walks at either side of the river Derwent. One side goes to low catton. The other goes all the way to kexby on the A1079
Pendine is famous for its long, flat sandy beach backed by dunes.
Big open beach divided by the river Ogmore going down the middle.

Vast woodland, owned by the City of London but available to all. Maps available online and on-site (boards and leaflets). Some flat walks, some with inclines.

A real magnet of a woodland for dogs and kids with plenty to do and explore for everyone. There is also a dog-friendly pub in the town to relax in after a great walk.
The trail around the waterfalls has been popular since the 19th century - and it's an exhilarating experience.
