You'll find this dog-friendly pub in the shadow of the Malvern Hills, which adds quite a bit to the atmosphere. A dog walk from the door, plus B&B rooms and camping makes this one to add to the list.
A homely and welcoming pub, and on the day we were here it was lovely to see a cockerpoo puppy starting his life with pub socialisation skills.
Country inn with a strong local following for food. A short and accessible dog walk all on a hard surface.
Dog-friendly pub with access to dog walks as long as you like on the South Downs Way and some totally unbeatable views. After a bit of a climb.
Unpretentious village pub with a generous welcome for walkers, families and dogs.
A dog-friendly pub that's steeped in history, since the 16th century, and now gives thoroughly modern service. Coaches would once have stopped here going to and from London.
Prettiest of the several pubs in this large village, and with a dog walk straight from the door. The pub is a delight, and a very relaxed and comfortable space.
Small homely pub where dogs are welcome, and good value meals are on offer. The inside can't be guessed from the outside, especially the parlour with piano and Edwardian sheet music.
Dog-friendly pub very close to the A3M Junction 2 near Horndean. It's a 17th century coaching inn and a much better option than a motorway services, and just as easy to reach.
Jem loved the dog walk here, along a route called the Milky Way. It's fine Hampshire countryside and pure delight for a doggiestop.
If you get the chance, this is one to check out.
