Oh my goodness, this is such a great starting point for a dog walk, and you'll find a warm welcome and good food after your leg-stretch. Large gardens surround the inn.
Very dog friendly, food all day. There is a wall map suggesting walks nearby. Also close to historic Ightham Mote, a beautiful National Trust property.
Beach hut cafe takeaway...providing hot and cold food, refreshments and ice cream. All outdoor picnic bench seating overlooking beach. Outside area allows dogs.

Easy to find and dog-friendly traditional pub just off the A361 near Barnstaple. It's a good place to stop for a meal or snack on your journey without getting embroiled in the town.
