Well-hidden down a rural lane, just under 2 miles from the A44, this village pub is popular with those in the know. Expect a friendly welcome for you and the dog.
On a dry day this little cafe is a real find, and a lovely place to sit down for a pot of tea and cake. There's a small shop with a selection of local produce, from jams and chutney to local cheese.
Evesham is perched on a bit of high ground inside a big loop of the River Avon. So with the inevitable delays getting over the bridges, traffic does build up at busy times.
The woodland walk here will delight the dogs, and it's a pity the pub is only open for lunch at weekends.
