Fantastic Beach for dogs to explore with sand dunes to run up and down, big plus of a stream running down to the sea for dogs who are not keen on the sea and is dog friendly all year round
One of the Canal and River Trust's set of dog walks along canals. This is the Stratford canal, a lovely rural waterway with glorious wildflowers along most of the canal bank.
Very popular dog walking spot, and a great place for quality dog time. Useful for a safe off-lead dog walk not far away from the A39.
Beach accessed down steep pathway from parking on Wear Bay Road near Folkestone harbour. Its sandy at low tide and can be walked at high tide using the concrete walkway below the cliffs.
Safe and attractive country park for a dog walk. It's also right in the middle of a number of main roads, and a useful doggiestop for desperate pooches. Not so great for people!

Westwood Country Park is still something of a secret to all except dog-walkers, locals and anglers. The dog will be delighted! There are no facilities here, just a dog walk.
Dogs' delight in winter, less so in summer! Walking through ancient broadleaf trees on clear paths, really easy to follow and with scents that dogs just adore.
Close to the M20 Jct 4, the dog walking paths in this country park are easy to walk. There's one marked footpath which goes through copses of trees with a wide grassy area. Nice.
