Cotswold dog walk and a dog-friendly pub, Gloucestershire
A fabulous dog walk on the Cotswolds Way for people and dogs, and then a fine inn to return to. The walk has no stiles or livestock.

The Park is just above the town, and on a sunny day you can get an idea of why the Victorians flocked to the town to take the waters - and build an extraordinary number of houses.
The country lane to the car park is narrow, twisty and hilly. It does enable access to the tarn for all and joins up with the path from the nearby NT campsite.
Amidst the historic buildings - not only the abbey but also a Jacobean Hall built with some of the abbey's stones - there are some charming dog walks around the lake and parkland.
The sense of quiet is extraordinary here, and no amount of canine snuffling and splashing in the stream seems to disturb. A glorious walking spot.
Sheltered shingle and pebble beach that is just gorgeous. Outstanding circular coast walk. Dogs are welcome on the beach
A dog friendly stop on the road from Sheffield to Newark. Avoids motorway. Free car park for RSPB members. Cafe was dog friendly.
Very pleasant place to visit and ideal if you live locally and have a members' pass. It's worth spending several hours here to get your money's worth if you just buy a visitor pass.
One of the most picture perfect villages in the North Cotswolds, with a lovely walk for the dog and a family and dog-friendly hotel for refreshments and even an overnight stay if you can't bear to...
A coastal path dog walk with fine views over towards a beach, and access to one side of the beach for swimming too.
Popular dog-friendly pub, with camping and lots of good dog walks from the door. Very helpful owners and an excellent base for Peak District walks.
Trees, paths, lake and a vast expanse of doggy delight. Fabulous walking here!
