Close to the M20 Jct 4, the dog walking paths in this country park are easy to walk. There's one marked footpath which goes through copses of trees with a wide grassy area. Nice.
Another doggy-tastic big sandy beach in Northumberland with no restrictions on dogs, and plenty of poo bins are in place.
Restaurant/Country pub with masses of parking, expensive menu but accepts dogs into the bar area and gardens. Fresh water for the doggies on request.
Gorgeous sandy beach at southern end of Shanklin by the Chine.
There's 360 acres of parkland to explore here, and a marked trail through the woodland that goes past some of the historical natural and manmade features of the park.
A sheltered shingly bay backed by steep cliffs. Access path through woods. Part of the Exmoor National Park. Nearly always quiet and peaceful.
If you're heading straight from the ferry terminal to the motorway south, then this is the first chance for the pooch to do a bit of scratching and sniffing on French soil.
Dogs are welcome on the beach here, with one marked section that's 'on-lead' only. The rest is open for doggy fun time. The castle is worth an explore too - well ruined, but atmospheric.
Various walks on banks of River Clyde, Golf Course and Parkland.
Tiny sandy beach, tucked away amongst the fishing boats. The Cleveland Way goes through here, and a very nice coast path it is too. No dog restrictions.
We've included this to let you know that for an emergency pitstop this Aire is available. It's not great - but hey, in a desperate situation who cares?
