Forest walks and bike trails, children's activities and all-round family fun time. popular with local dog owners, and perfect for some 'green' time after the beach.
Portheras Cove is a delightful little beach near Pendeen. There's a problem though - once you've been stung for parking, and clambered down the cliff path to reach the beach you'll see two signs.

A great walk for families with dogs and just off the A39. This can be a lifesaver when the traffic is heavy. And if you're staying nearby the longer trails are well worth exploring.
When the dog needs greenery and trees rather than sand and sea, this circular reservoir walk is a good option. There's also a field for children's games, and swings etc for younger children.
Polperro is a pretty little town with a big carpark at the top. The carpark is 750m walk from the harbour. The walk takes you through the town which is not car friendly, but very dog friendly .

Lovely old pub, dog-friendly of course, and within a shout of the coast path. Lots to do and see and plenty of paths to explore if you're staying in the area.
The South Beach is open to dogs all year round.
