A271 High Weald dog-friendly pub, East Sussex
Highly likeable dog-friendly pub near the A271 and A21, with a friendly atmosphere and sensational views over to Beachy Head. The artist Turner apparently was inspired by the landscapes from here.

Relaxed and friendly pubby pub with very good value traditional pub lunches, and a walk on the Weald trail for the dog.
Popular dog-friendly pub with great food, and a couple of fields for a short doggie leg-stretch.
Country inn with a strong local following for food. A short and accessible dog walk all on a hard surface.
Popular dog walks for families and groups.
Very relaxing to stroll near water, and this is a massive reservoir that was first filled as recently as 1988.
Dogs have a heavenly time in the absolutely enormous forest here. It's quite close to the A26 and A22 and makes a perfect place to stop for a relaxing walk with the dog.
Excellent combo of fine dog walk space and nearby Battle for refreshments (or helping with a history project) and shops. Also easy to get to from the A21 if you need a leg stretch before the coast.
It's the wrong area, but this pretty village does have something of Midsomer Murders about it! The pub is very much the heart of things, and is a traditional establishment.
A dog walk over fields and a dog-friendly pub with a welcome blazing fire in cold weather. And a garden that's probably pretty in the summer.
This is a total one-off and a fine discovery for us. What you find here is a family forestry business, with a cafe and walks. Wood is all around you in every form, and it smells amazing.
