Robin Hood Inn, Baslow, Derbyshire

The Robin Hood Inn has been a welcome stop for the refreshment of weary travellers for centuries. Formerly a thatched inn and originally owned by Chatsworth, the pub sits on an old Packhorse route that runs from Chesterfield through Baslow and Hassop to Great Longstone and Little Longstone before climbing up towards the Monsal Head to join an ancient Roman Portway.

Seriously fresh, seriously local, seriously home cooked and seriously good!

Located in the heart of the Peak District, we didn't think it made a lot of sense to source our produce from anywhere else. ‘Making the most of the County's Larder’ enables us to use the finest ingredients available for our selection of traditional pub classics, as well as a more extensive menu. All dishes are available in both large and small plates with a children's menu to hand.

Bookings can be made on 01246 583186

Dog Rules

Dogs are welcome in the palatial 'Hikers Bar'. Unlike many pubs where you run the risk of losing an eye to a snooker cue and sit with your knees under your chin, this Hikers Bar has plenty of space and proper tables.
