Park in the middle of St Quentin near to the Ibis hotel, and the cathedral. There are plenty of dogs here, all on leads as the park is surrounded by roads.

Poigny-le-Foret has a resort-like atmosphere, and does attract Parisians in need of fresh air at weekends. We found the prices here higher than in the towns just a little more distant from the N10.
Just one access point to the massive Haute-Vallee de Chevreuse regional park. Great for off lead dogs, picnics and some exhilarating forest air. Don't be surprised to see the occasional horse rider.
