Holmedale Valley dog walk and dog-friendly pub, North Yorkshire The first thing to notice about this village is the enormous village green. And then, lurking beyond the green are the ruins of an old castle. And the resident dogs - lots of them!
The Priory dog and family-friendly pub near the M5, Somerset Junction 19 A brilliant dog friendly pub just of the M5. Just by Gordano Services. Dogs are allowed in the tiled bar area. Food is above average and service is great. Walks in nearby Prior wood are excellent.
Country Park dog walk near Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Good walking in this historic park. Look out for the interesting colliery remains near the car park. Horses also use the park, so avoid the bridle paths if your dog is scared of large beasties!
