Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

Rushcliffe Country Park dog walk, Nottinghamshire

Conservation area with fields and footpaths, popular with local dog owners

WC+disabled, visitor centre, picnic tables. Dog poo bins.

This country park is a wonderful green area on the outskirts of Nottingham. A former military site, it has been reclaimed for wildlife and is a haven for dog owners.

There are clearly defined areas for dogs, and these zones are clearly marked throughout the park, with a map available outside the Rangers' Office. There are also three clearly marked trails. The blue trail is 1.2 miles, the red trail is 1.3 miles and the yellow trail is 2.5 miles.

Great for all the family, there is an adventure playground for the children and plenty of open areas for the dogs to run free in. There are well marked areas for "off lead" zones and plenty of dog bins. There is an easy path round the whole park so also wheelchair safe.
