A long beach that welcomes dogs. The main part of the beach is supposed to be a no go area for dogs in holiday season although when we visited there were lots of families with dogs on there.

Large long & flat sandy beach where dogs are allowed & accepted readily all year round. During July and August there's a 'dogs on leads' rule between 0900-1700.
The river walk near Clifton Bridge is a great dog walk for dogs, as there are plenty of open spaces for frolicking, small beach areas for swimming, and plenty of other dogs to meet.
After the rocks, 3 miles of beautiful sand. Zones for dog access in summer and these are well-signed.
This historic village is a fantastic place for dogs, and kids of all ages from 4 to 94. The dunes and beach behind the massive castle are wide and spacious enough for the most energetic hound.

Bramblebush Bay has some nice grassy picnic areas, and free parking along the roadside. Finding a parking space can be exciting on hot weekend days.
