National Trust owned beach with no restrictions on dogs all year round. The beach car park is on the coast road between Abbotsbury and Burton Bradstock (the B3157).
An historic village with a characterful dog-friendly pub, small shops and tea shops, and an easy walk down to the coast and the S.W. Coast path.
Within seconds of Jem leaping out for a sniff at the sea and a bounce on the beach, the rain deluged. The beach is all shingle and we couldn't really see anything of the coast path!
Friendly, family run public house, welcomes dogs, owners have 2 dogs. Great food, and friendly locals and fantastic views from beer garden
