Tram Museum and dog walk, Derbyshire
Don't be put off by the nerdy idea of a tram museum - this is an award winning day out, with a built-in walk and an amazing reconstruction of a village using 'found' buildings from far and wide.

A perfect walk for sociable dogs, with soft lush grass, doggie beaches by the river and swimming. Always check the river levels before letting your dog in the water.
A really delightful small-scale estate and house with a Robert Adam landscape and building design.
A really popular dog walking and paddling spot where the beach is made of tough grass. Loads of doggie fun!
In warm weather the cooling view of these large reservoirs is a charm. There are quite a few footpaths, but the obvious ones by the water are close to sheep or fenced off for people fishing.
A choice of car parks, some free the others P&D and a number of trails from wherever you stop. It's a popular weekend outing but there's plenty of space and enough walking to keep everyone happy.
A very friendly pub in the heart of historic Cromford with a warm welcome for dogs. This is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
