Roadwater dog-friendly pub and dog walk, Somerset
Friendly and relaxed dog-friendly pub in a village where many visitors probably arrive on foot. The long-distance 'Coleridge Way' goes past the door, and it's a lovely place to sit in the sunshine.

Village pub with reasonably priced, slightly retro pub food (chicken in basket) and dog-friendly in the bar and outside in the large garden.
We were charmed by this dog-friendly and inclusive museum and cafe. It's surrounded by a number of walks and heritage trail.
Oh my goodness, this is the hidden gem of hidden gems.
An easy and well-signed route up to a Peel Tower, and down again. A dog-friendly pub is nearby for refreshments, and in a most handsome building.
Fully accessible cafe and small park in the centre of a small village with strong links to the Pendle witches. Longer dog walks are also possible, and there are two dog-friendly pubs as well.
Outstanding traditional country hotel with quite formal service and a wonderfully warm welcome. Dog-friendly accommodation here too. Very much a place for delightful weekends away, and celebrations.
We loved this tiny slice of canalside history, with an easy and interesting walk with the dog plus a visit to a well-stocked emporium of canal memorabilia, books, doggie ice-cream and craft supplies.
A welcoming Georgian inn where dogs are made comfortable in the bar. The village is not at all far from the A515 but it feels as if you've landed in a previous century here.
We love finding a dog-friendly traditional village inn with modern comforts and good food. And this gorgeous village has plenty to offer its visitors.
An easy linear walk for the dog, and a dog-friendly country pub for refreshments too.
This must be one of the nicest towns no-one has heard of. And a dog-friendly cafe and many independent shops means that you don't need to leave the dog in the car while you go and explore.
