Croxteth dog walks, Merseyside
Among the many dog walk options in this former ducal parkland is a well signed River Trail which starts at the main Hall. This is wheelchair and buggy friendly, and runs through woodlands.

There are well signed paths leading out from both the car parks here, and plenty of space for dogs to stretch their legs and enjoy some excellent romping space.
Country park, with lots of different scents and sniffing for dogs. The River Irwell runs through the park. It's interesting for people too - with industrial heritage to look at, and sculptures too.
A lovely place to walk the dogs and Children. Large open field and walks arround the parkland. Food is available inside the main house.
Varied dog walks around fields and woods, close to the Vyne House (National Trust). Water, trees and fields - walks range from 1-4 miles.
A really enjoyable riverside dog walk in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
Enormous sandy beach with no dog restrictions. You just can't believe the space and freedom here. These pics were taken in July and the other dog walker was out of range.
This is a pebble beach with sand and silt when the tide it out. The path out to it is on a green ridge
Friendly and welcoming no-frills dog-friendly pub, with the kind of meals you really want after a good walk! Genuine pubby atmosphere.
Easy dog walk on the towpath.
Completely dog-friendly pebble beach, with particular appeal to surfers and dog owners. It's a great place for fossil hunting too.
One of our favourite places for kestrel spotting, and lots of space for dogs to charge around. There aren't any facilities here.
