Dog-friendly pub in the centre of a Dartmoor village, and with a good dog walk from the door. It seems incredible that this seemingly remote place is so close to the A30.
17th century pub, steeped in history and perfectly placed for either the beach or a strenuous uphill yomp. The location is wonderful, and fabulous at any time of the year.
A truly authentic pub experience that transports you back in time at least a century, maybe more. Exceptionally friendly and welcoming to dogs and drivers.
If Friar Tuck ran an inn, this could very well be it. The building itself is old, very old. As you enter you get the feel of centuries of hearty eating and full-bodied claret.
