A dog walk off the A14 with no parking hassles. Don't be put off by the industrial approach to this walk - it's worth it once you're away from the car.
Excellent walking with the dog here, surrounded by the lapping water of the River Ouse.
Handy combo of dog walk, dog-friendly pub, tea rooms and just a few miles from the A14.
Well-organised and relaxing country park, ideal for dog walking. It seemed like a very gentle and calm place when we were there.
We found this was a good combo of dog-friendly pub and short dog walk, with the site of the Battle of Naseby just a few miles away if you get inspired by the 'oldness' of everything around here.
Fully accessible dog walk on flat paths through a nature reserve, and a child and dog-friendly Tudor inn with roaring fires in winter and a garden in summer.
A short dog walk starting from the approach road to the golf club. Unlike the other dog walk for junction 57, this walk is flat, shorter and much easier for anyone with a buggy and dog.
By-passed by the A14 this dog-friendly pub is a bit of a forgotten coaching inn on the old road. Not a bad thing at all, or it would probably be a Premier Inn by now.
Riverside walk with several views of the Great Ouse, a working mill and a dog-friendly pub. People come here on holiday, and it's easy to see why. As a dog-friendly stop off the A14 it's brilliant.
A wonderful pub in a rural part of Sussex which seems to epitomise the England of dreams. It is close to Newmarket and needs to be visited for some relaxing downtime.
Really close to the A14 Junction 51, this is a handy stop with the dog. There's plenty of off-lead stretching space, and dogs can sniff in a nice mix of grass and rougher wildflower banks.
