Village pub with good cafe menu in a pub ambience. Dogs are welcome and the garden is quite large. The walk is very short and boisterous dogs will feel cheated. Less than a mile from the A14.
We've been here twice now with Hank after visiting friends in Northampton, we love it as there are ships to pop in, quite a few are dog friendly, some are not though so do check the signage on display...
A welcoming and restful former coaching inn, with a huge welcome for dogs and their drivers. The front garden has a stream running through, and there's a fine dog walk too.
This is so incredible, a 15th century building that is still fully in use and looking amazing. It was a farmhouse first, and became a pub later. But what a treat to experience this!
It is amazing that dogs are allowed anywhere near this very foody pub, but happily Fido will be made very welcome. There is also an easy walk nearby.
On a warm sunny day, bring the dog for a walk here and enjoy refreshments on a terrace with an unbeatable view over the valley.
A smart roadside country hotel and dining where dogs get a warm welcome.
An atmospheric walk in the footsteps of the outlaw 'Wild Humphrey Kynaston' - sometimes, and rather oddly, called the 'Shropshire Robin Hood'.
This is a great spot with free parking not far from the A11, the main circular route takes around 45mins, dogs are required to stay on the lead between March and September due to birds nesting.
We were charmed by the cheery welcome at this dog and child-friendly village pub with a huge garden. Active dogs will be happy with a romp over fields and then a play with the pub pooch.
Woodland dog walk rising through the trees above Bassenthwaite, and the chance of lovely cup of tea and cake after your walk. This is a good place for dog walks as there are no sheep.
