Fun dog walk in a swampy (in a good way) private wood and then a short drive back to a welcoming and dog-friendly pub.
Full of expectations of a big view over to France, white cliffs and the sea it wasn't to be. The mist had rolled in, cutting off the continent and anything more than a few feet ahead.
Woodland dog walk from the village which is perfect for dogs. Dog-friendly country pub with a well-tended and pretty garden in summer, and blazing log fires in cooler months.
Unpretentious CAMRA village pub with its own camping fields behind the car park. They do love their pies here.
Dogs have a heavenly time in the absolutely enormous forest here. It's quite close to the A22 and makes a perfect place to stop for a relaxing walk with the dog.
Small rural pub in the High Weald. Dogs and walkers are welcome.
A completely lovely 10 mile walk along a former railway line, starting at East Grinstead. There are seats and resting places along the full route.
