Welwyn dog-friendly pub and dog walk, Hertfordshire
A big pub, but still cosy and welcoming. Real fires in winter, and lovely garden seating for warmer days.

Well placed for a driving break and circular dog walk near the A1 from junctions 8 and 9.
A small park with a creek running along the edge of it. There is a rough field which is great for chase and fetch and then a nice clear creek to cool off in afterwards.
Good forest tracks and paths for a major workout with the dog near Berkhamsted.
Close to the M25 and a very good dog walk. Annoyingly the WCs have been out of action for a while so this doesn't tick the boxes for a motorway walk.
With comfy sofas and tub chairs the bar is perfect for relaxing after a good legstretch with the dog in the nearby Ashridge Estate or enjoying a quiet pint with the pooch on the way home from work.
Enclosed and gated wood/field.
Bustling country pub overlooking the green on the edge of beautiful Ashridge Forest. Great award winning food, interesting European wines and friendly staff.
Love the name of this village - and dogs will enjoy the dog walk here with a dog-friendly pub for coffees or cold drinks. Very handy for a break from the A10.
Very civilised dog-friendly dining pub within easy reach from the A10. And the village is worth an explore too.
This is excellent dog walking on common land north of Rickmansworth with plenty of space for the travel-weary dog to spread his paws and fly into the bracken.
There's plenty of flat, open space here, as you are in the parkland of Knebworth House. A dog walk of some distinction.
