North of Norwich, this is the city's largest open space and popular with dog-walkers. You'll find over 180 acres of heath and woodland to explore here.
Rural dog-friendly waterside pub with tables overlooking the Broad. Local ales, which we didn't try but the selection looked good. Dog walks by the water are enjoyable in summer.
Very dog-friendly B&B and pub just off the A149 and close to Norfolk's massive sandy beaches. The building dates back to the 15th century in part, when it was a farmhouse.
We set off from our pub base in Wells to find the sea and walked to Holkham Estate and back across the endless sands and dunes.
The Crown's very welcoming, and ideal for a stop no matter what time of day it may be. Dogs are welcome in the first bar, where you are able to have restaurant menu choices too.
A small route around some water on the right side of the road, if you cross the road there is a woodland path, the woodland walk is a dead end with a bench at the end.
A dog walk that feels like an extra-terrestrial experience as you cross the massive expanse of saltmarshes here. A genuinely awesome outdoor moment with the dog and highly recommended.
Just the place for some spiritual refreshment, an excellent farm shop and a stroll around the ancient village is a delight. Dogs are generally welcomed, although not in the churches.
Traditional Norfolk Broads pub where dogs and kids are welcome, and they do smashing cream teas too.
Nice dog walking place, with an on-lead restriction. The Boleyn family home was on this site, and the ghost of Anne Boleyn is said to be wandering around with a suitably headless retinue.
Lynford stag has a free car park and has plenty of thetford forest to wander through, there are a variety of picknick benches on site near the carpark.
