Bark Out

Stratford upon Avon dog walk for Retriever Rescue

A fund-raising dog walk to support Irish Retriever Rescue is taking place on Sunday August 4th. Start point is the Welcombe Hills (Maidenhead Road entrance).

Irish Retriever Rescue bring around 20 unwanted or abandoned golden retrievers each week from Ireland to loving new homes in the UK.

The walk is organised by Caroline Fitzpatrick to raise funds for the rescue charity.

The route goes from the Welcombe Hills, through Stratford town, along the Greenway to the Milcote car park and back. It's about 8 miles.

Everyone is welcome to join, with or without a dog, and the entry fee is just £3.00 per person (dogs free!).
