I've gone from being an introverted, housebound (through choice) person to this outgoing, outdoorsy person. Because of Herschel! A really big stretch of beach and such an amazing walk! Parking is near a holiday resort but fully accessible by people not holidaying.

Portland Park dog walk, Nottinghamshire
A lovely woodland walk, short trails or larger walks. Portland Park is situated directly to the south west of Kirkby in Ashfield around a 15 to 20 minute walk from the town centre.
The Trent Lock dog-friendly Country Pub & Restaurant, Nottinghamshire
The pub used to be called The Navigation Inn, it sits right beside the Erewash trail. The pub has a massive outdoor area so you can sit away from people but dogs are also allowed in the pub as well.

A massive nature reserve, established in 1966 and was opened by Sir David Attenborough himself. Known for its massive range of bird life, insects and plants. A very busy attraction.
