Rycote dog walk and historic chapel, Oxfordshire An easy walk across open farmland on a section of the Oxford Way towards a tiny 15th century chapel. In wet weather the fields get muddy and you'll need wellies. On a dry summer's day it's a delight.

Coral Beach - dog-friendly, Scotland About 5 miles north of Dunvegan. Follow a farm track down to the beach (about 25 mins, look out for sheep and cows), which is an amazing white colour that makes the sea look turquoise.
