Dog friendly beach, County Durham
Description
Park by the side of the road at the end of Zinc Works Road and walk along the track through the dunes to the large dog friendly beach which is tidal. Dogs are welcome all year round. The beach is within the river Teesmouth estuary and Teesmouth National Nature Reserve. The combination of beautiful beach with the industrial backdrop and cargo ships is always interesting.
