Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

A20 Exit 13 Châteauroux doggiestop, France

Premium

Description

Châteauroux has some narrow and winding medieval streets around the old chateau (now a government building) where tanners and clothworkers once plied their trades, and at one point in the 12th century the town was owned by the English king.

It's not worth a detour to visit, but if you're overnighting in the dog-friendly Ibis hotel the walk here is close enough to use for a pleasant early morning stroll and combines a quick look at the old city with a really lovely riverside path.
