This walk starts at a small, and impeccably maintained, memorial to Canadian soldiers from WW1 and then follows a forest path where dogs are able to run off lead. You're likely to have the walk to yourselves as this is a quiet and sleepy area.

Excellent walk very easily found from the motorway.
This can be turned into a circular walk by following the original directions, turning right into the clearing and then walking 150m up the hill and turning right on the first of two tracks that join the clearing here. This takes you through the woods and eventually joins a rutted wide track where if you turn right again it takes you back to the French Resistance memorial.
We also walked a little bit along the path to the left at the end of the original directions: it eventually opens out into a long quiet lane through fields that seems to go on for a long way - handy for tiring out high energy dogs.
