We were charmed by this pretty town with a delightful dog walk by the side of a shallow, twinkling stream and a 15th century dog-friendly pub for refreshments at the start of the walk. There's also a High Street with small shops and cottages, cafes and a thriving market on Thursdays. Just outside the town is a farm shop, garden centre and cafe with easy parking (including campervans) if you don't want to slug it out for a space in the town centre.
