Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

A31 doggiestop near exit 11, France

This 'aire de repose' on the westbound side of the A31 is one of the best rest-stops for dogs and people, on a section of motorway that is otherwise pretty unenticing.

The two dogs in the picture are from Holland, and were having a great time chasing sticks!

Fitness trail with wooden exercise stations along the way (parallel bars, etc)

How to get there

Aire de Favarosse lies between junctions 10 and 11 of the A31.

Access direct from the motorway and (cars) turn right under the height restriction bar and continue downhill to the parking bays and picnic tables.

Campervans/caravans: park as directed and then walk down the slope to the signed trail.

Amazingly, there's a signed walk here:  the 'Take a break' trail.  It starts from the lower section of the car parking area.
